I like this photo , partly for technical reasons. and because it is a scene I am constantly trying to photograph. Not as easy as it looks. The shutter had to be set so as not to freeze the motion of the waves.
At the same time the foreground is very sharp. My guess is that your settings were around 1/30 sec at f/16. One would need a very steady hand to to take such a shot without the use of a tripod.

After searching awhile for the photo, found it on my laptop, you're right it was f/16, the shutter speed was a little slower at 1/15 sec. I was sitting down with the camera on top of my knees which helped quite a bit!
